Job Description

- Responsible for the evaluation, development and introduction of avionics systems

- Hold discussions with existing and potential suppliers

- Produce specifications and reports and develop essential documents for system certification and production

- Responsible for looking after the system engineering side of our customer aircraft

- Define technical guidelines for flight-testing, modified systems and support the flight test department during test flights

- Defect analysis of fault and defect messages and the development of solution proposals

Profile

-- Several years experience in aircraft design / development

- Experience with the most modern communication and navigation systems as well as electronic flight instruments

- Working knowledge of civil FAR and JAR regulations and certification

- Good communication skills and be able to work in a team

- High level of computer knowledge (MS Office)

- Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language

- Knowledge of the German language is desirable, but not essential
