Step 1 (Setting Microsoft Loopback Adapter & Find Server Name or Host Name)

Note : Base on Windows 2000 / XP

01. Install Microsoft Loopback Adapter *** See below.

Open Microsoft Loopback Adapter to using this by double click on "Local Area Connection"

Control Panel ==> Network Connections ==> Local Area Connection

02. Open Command Prompt

Start ==> Programs ==> Accessories ==> Command Prompt

and typing this "ipconfig/all" you will get the value see below.

01. Insert CD-ROM DISC 2 of "Documentation Help" to CD-ROM Drive

and go to directory \ugdoc020\program files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\

02. Copy directory "UGDOC" in to install directory

C:\Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\

OK, you will get the direcotry (UGDOC) inside

C:\Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\UGDOC\

and the directory (html_files) inside

C:\Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\UGDOC\html_files\

03. OK, Now you prompt to see the HELP for UGS NX v2.0 on

03.1 Help ==> On Context... (or Press F1)

03.2 Help ==> Documentation....

03.3 Help ==> Release Notes...

03.4 Help ==> What's New Guide...

Step 3 (Configuration the License File)

############################################################

01. Copy \crack\ugnx2.lic from CD-ROM to directory

C:\Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\UGFLEXLM\ugnx2.lic

and edit with NotePad

02. Change the first line of ugnx2.lic by replace the "this_host" with "You server name"

(My server name is "teeny") and save it.

From

SERVER this_host ANY 27000

DAEMON uglmd

To

SERVER teeny ANY 27000

VENDOR uglmd

03. Setting you "Enviroment Variables" to

LM_LICENSE_FILE = 27000@server_name

By ==> Control Panel ==> System ==> Advanced ==> Environment Variables ==> System variables ==> New

Variable ==> LM_LICENSE_FILE

Value ==> 27000@teeny

==> OK ==> OK ==> OK

04. Click on C:\Program Files\EDS\Unigraphics NX 2.0\UGFLEXLM\lmtools.exe

or

Click on Start ==> Programs ==> Unigraphics NX 2.0 ==> FLEXlm Tools ==> lmtools

Извиняюсь, но зачем это нужно??? Установка ничем не отличется от установки UG NX v1.0

А там и так всё было ясно - просто "как две копейки в профиль"

В общем
