Job Description

An independent position within the Office of Airworthiness. The CVE works in co-operation with the engineering collaborators which prepares and provides the compliance documents.

 Defines and analyses the applicable airworthiness requirements.

 Advises the various departments with regards to the applicable certification requirements.

 Reviews and checks the documents necessary for showing compliance towards the applicable airworthiness requirements.

 Is the contact person for the authorities.

 Witnesses tests.

 Reviews, checks and verifies the documents published by the company and which are required by the applicable regulations towards completeness and technical accuracy.

Your Profile

 Qualification as a Senior Engineer, i.e. several years of education and experience in the fields of aviation engineering and design.

 Experience in the various approval procedures would be appreciated (EASA Part 21 / CS / JAR / FAR).

 Good communications skills in English (spoken and written). German or French in addition will be an advantage.

 Basics in quality management systems would be appreciated.

 Organisation skills.

 Team player.
