Job Description

-Responsible for the evaluation, development and introduction of avionics systems

-Hold discussions with existing and potential suppliers

-Produce specifications and reports and develop essential documents for system certification and production

-Responsible for looking after the system engineering side of our customer aircraft

-Define technical guidelines for flight-testing, modified systems and support the flight test department during test flights

-Defect analysis of fault and defect messages and the development of solution proposals

Profile

-Several years experience in aircraft design / development

-Experience with the most modern communication and navigation systems as well as electronic flight instruments

-Working knowledge of civil FAR and JAR regulations and certification

-Good communication skills and be able to work in a team

-High level of computer knowledge (MS Office)

-Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English language

-Knowledge of the German language is desirable, but not essential
